MSDPM service crashing (on secondary DPM) when doing BMR of primary DPM

Configuration

OS: Windows Server 2012 Standard

DPM 2012 SP1

Whenever i try to do BMR of primary DPM, MSDPM service on secondary DPM crashes. On primary DPM in Windows server backup, it says that backup was successful but when changes should be made on DPM database (secondary DPM), MSDPM service crashes. Backup of only SS works fine.
