We are getting "Windows Update Agent is not supported on this operating system" when using MSBA 2.2 to scan.     We see that Windows 7 is an supported OS.     What requirements are needed to accomplish this?

Please be sure to review the MBSA FAQ that is mentioned in the welcome section of this forum.  It contains the answer for every known MBSA issue  including this issue under the heading, "Why am I seeing error "Windows Update Agent is not supported on this operating system" even though the computer is running Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or later?"

Since MBSA 2.2 supports win 7.  Who can I contact at microsoft that can answer "why mbsa scan reports the following error when scanning Win 7 (x86 or X64) OS

Windows Update Agent is not supported on this operating system.
