MPR not removed
Hi I have a request based MPR that is applied on members in set "departmentXX". Members are manually added to the set. The MPR are applied to the user when user becomes member of the set, when the user is removed from the set the MPR is not removed from the user??. How can I remove the MPR from the user, the user is not visible in the set, but the MPR is visible for the user if I run a Explore Managment Policy Rule with the user as Requestor. Is there anything I missed to configure? /Mikael M

Something is missing here – you can’t remove MPRs from users. A management policy is applied when a condition is true. Please see Designing Business Policy Rules for more details. What is it, you want to accomplish? Cheers, MarkusMarkus Vilcinskas, Knowledge Engineer, Microsoft Corporation

Hi Yes "remove" might be wrong name for it. I dont want the MPR to be applied on the user any more, the MPR should only be applied on users that are members in the Set "departmentXX", and not on users that have been members and now is removed from the set. When I remove a user from the Set, the policy is still applied on the user. /Mikael M

In this case, you need to check your MPR configuration. This sounds like the condition is not configured the way you want it. Are you sure, you need a request based MPR and not set-transition based MPR? Cheers, MarkusMarkus Vilcinskas, Knowledge Engineer, Microsoft Corporation
