MPR: User not able to see the custom resource on Portal
Hi All I am going through the "Introduction to Management Policy Rules" walkthrough. I am at the section "To test the MPR as a member of the All Full Time Employee set". An MPR has been defined to all allow all members of the set "All Full Time Employee" to create the objects of type "Computer". I login as a user fte1 who is a member of set "Full Time Employee" set. But I can't see link to Computer on the navigation bar. MPR Defintion: Permission: Grant permission check box selected Requestors: All Full Time Employees Operation: Create Resource, Read Resource, Modify a single-values attribute selected Target Resource definition before request: All Computers Target Resource definition after request: All Computers Resource Attributes: All Attributes Am I missing anyting else? TIA Sachin

Hi Sachin! This has nothing to do with MPR's, you have to create your own Navigation Bar Resources under Administration in the portal. If that has not been created earlier in the document there is a bug in the documentation. //Henrik Henrik Nilsson Blog: http://www.idmcrisis.com Company: Cortego (http://www.cortego.se)
