MPR's stuck in Pending
I am probably just not clear on my understanding, but I have setup a lab environment which follows the suggestions in Microsoft's demonstration examples. For example, when I create a user in the text file "HR Database", I have to manually run all of the
Run profiles. The new user is eventually projected into the FIM Sync database, and the user becomes visible in the FIM Portal. It's Sync Rule to create the user in AD always stays as 'pending'.
How/Where do I set the frequency of the sync rules?

Hi There,
The pending status of the flow rule is that you have assigned it to the user object in FIM but you still have to synchronize it using the synchronization engine. Once the rules are applied to the object by the synchronization engine (and the object provisioned
if you have the "create object in connected directory" updated) and the FIM MA is exported again, the status should change to applied.
Synchronization steps->
1. FIM MA Delta Import
2. FIM MA Delta Sync
3. AD MA Export
4. AD MA Delta Import
5. FIM MA Export
Note that you really only have to do steps 1, 2 and 5 for the "Pending" status to be updated to "Applied" however, steps 3 and 4 actually are doing the "work" of the sync rule that you're trying to apply to the connected directory.
If the status stays as pending you may want to check relationship criteria and such like that for a mismatch.
Thanks
B
