I really hope someone can help me out here. I just ran AWStats against the IIS logs on my two WFEs and I found something very strange. In the HTTP Status Codes section of the report there were tons of 401 Unauthorized hits, each web app had about 98%( ~30,000 hits avg. for each web app)of its hits result in 401 errors. These hits were for "Not viewed traffic which includes robots, worms, or replies with special HTTP status codes" so Im guessing that it's from the indexer? I don't know and don't even know where to begin looking to fix this problem.
