MOSS 2007 site could not be viewed from other computer.
Hi, I had succesfully installed MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2008 R2. Shared Services are already running and had successfully created Web Applications, Site Collections, and Sites. When i browsed the site on its browser, it runs smoothly but when i tried ti view it using other computer, it showed nothing. It says the page could not be displayed. What do you guuys think are the possible causes of this issue?

It could be a number of things Roderick, Do you have DNS entries available on your network so that the target computer, in this case the server is visible to your machines? Do you have any firewalls in place preventing connectivity? Can you access anthing on the target server, other websites, file shares etc? can you at least ping the server by ip or hostname?Paul Turner http://redmanta.co.uk/blog Twitter: @RedMantaUK MCTS:WSS,MOSS,2010 MCITP:2010. Hi, I successfully accessed the Site outside the server by disabling the Server Firewall. Thanks.
