We have MOSS 2007 and recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2010. There is one user who checks out an excel file on Sharepoint and then opens it. She always gets notepad and the excel file. This didn't happen until Office 2010 upgrade. I have searched and searched and not found anything relating to this. We have adjusted the security levels in Excel trust center and didn't change anything. Thanks.

Hi Kindly Try to Follow this Steps 1. Run one of the Office 2010 application (e.g. Word 2010). 2. Click on File menu, and select Options. 3. In the “Options” dialog, select Trust Center in the left pane. 4. Click on Trust Center Settings in the right pane. 5. Select Protected View in the left pane of “Trust Center” dialog. 6. Check the file association of excel files on her machine. You can do this by right click on the desktop and select properties. Once done, Click on file types and check what type of file excel is associated with.
