MOSS 2007 Picture Library Filmstrip
Dear all,
Is it possible to set the Filmstrip view as the default view for all picture libraries?
Thanks

Yes you can!
Of course, you COULD modify the Picture Library list definition to set the new default, but not that you SHOULD. Microsoft recommends that you never modify built in types, but instead clone them for your own purposes. So the recommended way to
do it, is to create your own Custom List Definition, using the Picture Library as your clone base.
Andrew Connell wrote a great article on how to do it. Start here:

I trust that answers your question...

You don't have to set the Filmstrip as default.
If you use Filmstrip view last time. The next time you open the Picture library, it will open Filmstrip view automatically. The page might have saved the setting in
cookie.

GUYumming
I Think this will only change it for you though and not every user that visits this page, I guess William wants this to display for all users and not just himself?
Thanks
