SP 2013 Enterprise, July 2014 CU, Site collection has many sites with their own content databases.  Powerpivot for Excel is deployed on SQL Server 2012 SP2 with a POWERPIVOT AS instance.  One one site, Manage Powerpivot Data Refresh exists in the context menu for an Excel workbook.  Processing and rendering in browser works fine. But in all other sites in the Collection, the Manage PowerPivot Data Refresh is missing from the context menu within their individual powerpivot sites.  Enterprise features are enabled on each site, and Excel and PowerPivot services are enabled on the farm. I notice a health warning that may be related, complaining about missing web parts like Microsoft.AnalysisServices.SPAddin.DataRefreshFailureWebPart and other related web parts.

It goes on much longer, but seems to repeat.  There are so many components to the PowerPivot setup that I need more guidance on exactly what is missing and how to install it.

Also note that full functionality exists on the sites where the Manage PowerPivot Refresh menu item is missing.  For example, I can click on a workbook, it displays in the browser, and I can use slicers and filters just fine.  But I cannot set up nightly refreshes, which makes these powerpivot sites effectively useless. 

I got rid of those error messages above with no change in the symptom of a missing Manage PowerPivot Refresh context menu item.  The health checks no longer indicate anything that appears related to PowerPivot.

But now the messages are back.  Look much nicer in notepad.  Here is the list of missing classes, followed by the details.  The server is fully patched (Windows Server 2012 R2 and Sharepoint).

From your description, ""Manage Powerpivot Data Refresh" option is missing on some sites, while it works on one site in the same site collection.

Since it works on one site, I'd recommend you compare the following between the issue one and good one:

1.Excel workbook source,

2.Excel workbook version,

3.You account permission on workbook,

4.Excel workbook check-in status,

5.Site features.

As for the Health Analyzer report, when the rule runs, it compares all of the web parts that are listed in the content database with the assemblies that are registered in Web.config for the site.  It depends on the Central Admin on which WFE server and Web.Config file. From the entries, it is related to Search Service. Please check if Search works in your environment, and make sure all relevant services are started.
