We have a report that generated as MHTML and merged into an OpenOfficeXML document....The generated output has references to our report server. If we try to send the document to an outside email address it gets trapped and errored out because the security policy does not allow documents that reference internal servers to be emailed to outside addresses.

The error message might not be caused by SSRS, because the report server name or link is regarded as a string in the document.
