hello, so I have mdt integrated into sccm, and I created the mdt boot images through the wizard. certain offices in my environment cant boot pxe so we use bootable media. the problem happens when I try to boot with the mdt created boot stick on a computer
using legacy bode verses uefi, the standard sccm boot image has no problem? when I try to boot with the mdt stick I get an error saying no os found?
can anyone help me out with this issue? thank you.

Hi,
How did you create the USB boot stick? You need to use for instance UEFI, check out this post from Johan on how to create a USB stick that supports both.

Hi thanks for the response, I made the usb stick through sccm; I used the boot wim I created with the sccm integration. Let me clarify uefi has no problems booting from these sticks, its legacy boot that has an issue. The default sccm boot wim does not
have an issue with booting to either, and requires no special formatting of the usb sticks.

UEFI can only read system files from a FAT32 partition.
Reconfigure your USB stick to a maximum 32GB MBR partition size and format it with FAT32.

Legacy BIOS can't read GPT partitions.
So if your USB stick was formatted to GPT, that would explain the failure.
