The company i am working for is in the process of moving to Windows 7. I have already set up MDT for the deployment of Windows 7 and many deployment shares located in various locations. I have now been informed that they have (almost) decided that they are now getting SCCM. Is there any documentation on integrating MDT into SCCM or will it need a complete reconfiguration? Any help would be very much appreciated.

if you have mdt already setup then that's fine, as SCCM will be a separate database anyway, and you will also want (not need, but want) to integrate MDT within SCCM, however, that is not the same as having MDT installed on another server etc. if you are currently imaging computers via PXE and MDT then you'll want to consider doing that with SCCM instead - take a look at this post for more details if you take a look at my guides in my signature you'll see plenty of samples that are both SCCM and SCCM with MDT integration for deploying/migrating to windows 7, cheers niall My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady
