MDT Role Packages doesn't install
Hello! I've been trying to wrap my head around this current issue I'm having. So some fresh eyes and input is greatly appreciated! I have a SCCM 2007 R3 setup with MDT 2010 Sp1 integrated. I've setup the TS to use my customsettings.ini with the following settings (some info removed for security) [Settings] Priority=CSettings, CRoles, RPackages, Default [Default] DoCapture=NO ComputerBackupLocation=NONE BDEInstallSuppress=YES MachineObjectOU=ou=Computer,dc=mydomain,dc=com [CSettings] SQLServer=ServerName Database=MDT Netlib=DBNMPNTW SQLShare=Logs$ Table=ComputerSettings Parameters=MacAddress ParameterCondition=OR [CRoles] SQLServer=ServerName Database=MDT Netlib=DBNMPNTW SQLShare=Logs$ Table=ComputerRoles Parameters=MacAddress ParameterCondition=OR [RPackages] SQLServer=ServerName Database=MDT Netlib=DBNMPNTW SQLShare=Logs$ Table=RolePackages Parameters=Role When I check my BDD.log and ZTIGather.log I'm able to find the correct role assigned to the computer, packages settings etc however when I check my smsts.log I cant find any entry of the related packages. The deployment runs flawless except for this issue the computer joins the domain, computer name is changed etc Thank you! //Andreas

Out of curiosity, is the client fully functional after your deployment? I've seen cases where the client bits are installed and Actions tab is populated but the client is actually still not properly assigned and isn't able to get policies so post-deployment apps don't install. I literally just ran into this in my own config so troubleshooting that right now.

Figured mine out. Just had an error in the Patch= section of the SCCM client install during my deployment phase. Role based apps are now installing. Were you able to verify your client state?
