I've read the blog post on this by Jason Sandys and wanted to test it out. I've placed the step directly before the Configure step in the Post Install section, but when i do this it's as if something is causing the installation of the drivers( the very next step) to fail b/c it halts and i get to the end of the deployment with system that doesnt join the domain/ video driver missing, etc. I've verified the packages for the updates are on the DP. Do they need to be advertised to the unknown systems collection as well? Has anyone had any success with this? If so, how did you pull it off? Thanks, Stephen

Failed to run the action: Install Updates Offline- July 2011. The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 80070002; Source: Windows) There is the only error I could find in that log. thanks!

I resolved this. Essentially, my MDT package was missing some folders ( but worked perfect in every other scencario but this one). I updated, created a new sequence and everything is good. Thanks Stephen
