MDT2013 Update 1 with Win10 ADK- Build and Capture Blue-screens on SYSPREP

I've just installed MDT2013 Update 1 and ADK for Windows 10 on a Server 2012 R2 computer to create a reference image for Windows 10 to deploy with SCCM.  It appears that the MDT instructions here have not been updated for 2013 Update 1:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us//library/dn781086.aspx

So I am running through the Windows 8 instructions but I'm using Windows 10 Enterprise source files for my OS image.

When I run my task sequence on the reference computer it runs through all the way to sysprep, then the reference computer blue-screens and reboots and I cannot get into it to look at logs.

I have tried updating LTISYSPREP.WSF from the files in this blog post:

That did not help...  Anybody else run into this?  Any ideas?

Thanks,

FP

The blog you link is from July 28.  It says "MDT 2013 Update 1 is not yet released so in this guide Im using the MDT 2013 Update 1 Preview"

MDT 2013 Update 1 released on August 17 (version 6.3).  I am trying to use the released version to capture my reference computer and sysprep is blue-screening.

On a side note, the article also says "Windows 10 cannot be allowed to connect to Internet, or the Sysprep process will fail ".  My reference computer is not connected to the internet and sysprep is blue-screening.

Thanks,

FP

Did you specify the logs folder location in the MDT rules with SLSHARE=\\Computername\DeploymentShare$\Logs ? This will store the logs, when something goes wrong for troubleshooting.

Are you trying to capture your Windows 10 reference image from a physical or virtual pc?

If your trying against a physical computer I would suggest attempting the same process from either a HyperV guest or similar as it could be driver related.

Not that a blue screen issue is mentioned here but I assume you have seen this blog? Just something to be aware of.

Worst case, you could wait for the re-release of MDT 2013 Update 1 which was was announced around a week ago now.

Cheers
