hi, I have importing some attributes from CSV file to update the attributes of user in Active Directory.In my CSV file ,I have manager attribute.I have set anchor as employee id , manager attibute as Refernce in CSV management agent.When importing the CSV file to FIM,After Full sychronization ..Manager attribute status is 'Applied Deleted' and in metaverse reference(Unavailable). I have that manager id in my FIM portal.but i cannot able to update the manager attribute for person in FIM Portal

When i am using employee id instead of name in supervisor attribute its shows status. deleted if i am using name in supervisor ,its shows status applied deleted,in metaverse applied(Unavialable). I just clear onething ,i am not creating new user from CSV,updating some addtional attributes using CSV.all other attributes getting updated expect the Manager.I am not confusing you. Whether it possible to update the reference attribute in FIM.

hi, When i full import the User attributes from CSV file the supervisor=347865 ,shows as placeholder in search Connector space. And i used preview to view FUll Sychronization it shows Status:Applied Deleted , Data source:Supervisor , Mapping type:sync-rule-mapping-direct , Metavers attribute:manager , Inital Value: Final Value:deleted.

As soon as there is a placeholder during a full import, something is not right with your configuration. There is no need to try to synchronize anything. Placeholders are a result of unresolved references. You should create a test AVP MA with Paulo's data and run just a full import. This should generate what you are looking for.
