MAK with SCCM TS or KMS server with MSDN key
Hi,
I want to deploy Win7 in a testlab but using MSDN licences. Can I use MSDN keys to setup a KMS server and activate Win7 clients? Is my only alternative adding in a TS in the "apply windows settings - Product Key" area or add a TS step with slmgr.vbs command?
What's the best way to do this?

Hi,
There is no KMS license key in the MSDN subscription, what I do in a test environment is to use a "trial" version of the Windows 7 operating system. You can rearm a Windows 7 3 times(3x30days) using "slmgr.vbs -rearm" after that period I normally will
have reinstalled the computer anyway.
Otherwise you should use the MAK key option during deployment.

Thanks for the info. That's a shame about MSDN and no KMS as it doesnt let you practice a real world setup. Guess I'll add the product key through a TS.
Cheers!
