Losing wireless connection from WSS user profile
I am running WSS on a wireless XP machine. It continually drops wireless connectivity from the user account (have not noticed it happening on the administrator account, but am never on that for long). To restore connectivity, I either need to log on as administrator to repair the connection, or unplug the network adapter - and I don't want to encourage users to do that by demonstrating that it is that simple. It probably isn't good for the adapter to be unplugged and plugged back in several times a day. I haven't found any combination of functions to allow the users that will give them the power to run "Repair" on the connection without giving them access to do more than that. Any ideas?

Hi, I'd like to inform you that this issue is not caused by Windows SteadyState restrictions. These two options in network connection only appear when logging on the computer as administrator or account with administrator privilege. For power user, only repair option is available. You can take a look at the following thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowssteadystate/thread/699e50af-a15a-46f3-a569-cee7d49046e5 Hope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT
