Hi Folks I was hoping someone might be able to provide some advice. I was looking for the easiest way to use Excel data as a lookup dataset? (I want to avoid using a merge join for performance reasons). One option appears to be using a Cache connection manager Are there any other simple options? Cheers Steve

Cache transform is simple to use, just use two data flow task, in first data flow, connect excel source to a cache transform and in second data flow use this cache connection inside lookup transform another solution is : load excel data into database table first and then lookup in database table.
