I have the following situation:1. I got a Document Library with documents.2. I got a list on the main Site with Custumors.3. In the Document Library I got a own template with dotx.4. Now I want to get data from the Custumors list(name location and more).5. So I add the colums of my list to the content and on my dotx template as fields(Quick parts).6. Now I want to do the following thing I want to select the Custumors name and then I want to automatic fill in the remaining data that also in the Custumors list.Step 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 are done.Step 6:Already tryed with lookup fields.Added column to the Template.

Hi, I think that there is no OOTB way to realize this function. I suggest you to use web part connection feature to link the document library and the list as follows: 1) Create a lookup type field referring to the customer name of your list in your library. 2) Create another web part including your list side by side in the same page. 3) Create a connection between two web parts using the customer name. Let me know if you have further questions! Hope it is helpful!

Thanks for the respons but already figured it out by myself. A lookup field got linkend to a ID(int). After this I worked in InfoPath.1. Linked my lookup field to the field info path then search for a column but the problem is the column of a lookup field are only created in the library. So couldn't connect to the rest of the data. http://vspug.com/maartene/2009/03/13/using-sharepoint-metadata-in-word-documents-the-lookup-column-issue/ With this link I found a solution for this with rules(in InfoPath). 1. Make 1 field data that is a drop-down option.2. Connect infopath with the column group and get the coulmn into InfoPath.3. Make a action on the drop-down field that fill in the InfoPath field with the data of the Library list(your columns in content). So on the drop-down field I got like 15 rules. So what I did was create a action to set the field value. Set field value off "testB" get data from "testB" off the column in Sharepoint then add a filter on the drop-down if field is equal to the "field" in Sharepoint. Now it will automatic fill in "testB" if you select a item in the drop-down field.
