Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and plan to use it much more in the future. My job involves the application MS Visual Studio SSIS Designer. I'm sure to contribute to the forum once I know more about SSIS Designer. Right now I'm learning about error handling. So far I've read the related chapters @ http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc304422.aspx . What I'm looking to do is trigger an error I delibrately caused by editing my small practice XML file (that I created) to have 1 mismatching Start tag for the variable "color". I use the Data Flow Transformation "XML Source" to grab my practice XML file and Schema (.xsd file Boss provided). After my 1st successful execution of the design, I now want to capture the XML file is invalid with the given .xsd file.
