Looking for Browse capability for sharepoint sites
I am looking for a way to see a list of all of the sharepoint sites on a server. Perhaps an MMC pluging or some way to navigate or browse through all of the sites configured on a server. Does this exist?Scaling the Cliffs of Insanity

Can I assume that since no one has replied in 14 hours that there is no way to discover what sharepoint sites exist on a sharepoint server?
I have used "Site Settings" and "Manage Sites and Workspaces" but this only shows you sub-sites under the top site you are currently connected to. I know I have another top site, but I can't see it anywhere, I just have to know it's name.
Is is just me or does this seem strange to everyone else? Or is the answer so basic that no one will answer it (but I don't know it)?

Hi Maineac,
In a nutshell, a SharePoint site is an IIS Web Site specifically configured to run WSS.
If you are simply asking for a list of all Web applications in SharePoint, you have two options:
Navigate to Central Administration > Application Management > Web application list
Navigate to IIS - all sites hosted on your WFE servers are contained there.
Assuming you are talking about a single MOSS farm option 1 would be the most straightforward assuming you have access to Central Administration.
Let me know if this answers your query, or whether you are looking for something a little more involved.
