Long alpha/numerical folders with about the same contents, can't delete

Hello,

I continue to have Long alpha/numerical folders with about the same contents, I can't delete and that now total 14.3 GB and growing. I was told it was safe to delete them , but I can't. I also would like for these files to stop being generated.

Thanks so much,

Mark

These are generally created by SU and are not directly related to CM12. Generally you can delete them.

 with about the same contents,

And what's in those folders?

This is an example of folder content, similar to the other ones.  I can't delete any of them.  I have been updating our OSD images and wonder if they came from that?

That is easy enough to prove. Don't preform any OSD image update for about an hour. Then record the time that you start updating your image and when it complete. Do any new folders get created? Do any of the folder match your drivers?

Yes, it is definitely related to Deploying a Standalone Media image on a USB to a computer. I started a laptop image and it generated one of those alpha/numerical folders with the date/time I started it.  I then started a Desktop image and another folder was generated with thee date/time I started, again.  I don't mind if they are created, but would be nice if they deleted themselves or at least allowed me to delete them.  Not like I can reboot into safe mode whenever I want to delete them, on the sccm 2012 server ha ha.

I can delete them using unlocker, but only one at a time. But why aren't they deleted once the image is done?

Thanks,

Mark
