I am trying to upload a picture to be the Logo image on my sharepoint site. I changed it to 60x60 pixels and made it a .png and have it being hosted on an image site. When I upload it I just get a box with a red X in it. Any ideas? Thank you.

I had the same problem when I switched from http to https. The picture is being sent http and is not secure content, therefore error. Can be fixed by adjusting browser settings to display mixed content.

I am still running http. I will try and change my browser to display mixed content though.

here are some steps to understand whats going on, 1. right click ont the red cross image and select properties, make sure the url is correct. 2. you said the image is hosted on a image site, is access an issue ?Here to help.

In my opinion you need to make sure that the image is an a location where it is freely accessible by anyone.
