Hi, Can anyone help us on the below errors we are getting while converting Oracle database to SQL database.Initially we are expected that it was network problem but both the severs are in same LAN and gateway firewall also will not come into picture.. We are converting nearly 70 to 100GB of data. Hi Yugandhar, The "Timeout expired" error commonly occurs when an instance of the SQL Server Database Engine is not running, when the server name was typed incorrectly, or when there are network problems or firewalls.
