Logging Service does not exist
I am getting alert on the scom console from all my clients (both 2003, 2008) Logging service does not exist

i cannot find this info. it just says MISSING EVENT: $Criteria$

Hi Jon,So if u click on an alert in the Monitoring pane, in the Alert Details window, it does not show the name of the Alert Rule or Monitor??Is this the same server that is not sending emails?Cheers,John Bradshaw

Source: DMZServer.domain.com Path: DMZServer.domain.com Alert rule: Logging service not exist Created: 6/4/2010 12:00:59 AM Alert Description: MISSING EVENT: $Criteria$ Knowledge: No knowledge was available for this alert. Digging further: Management Pack: Microsoft.Windows.Server.RightsManagementServices (Converted) Rule Category: Event Collection Rule target: Microsoft Windows Rights Management Logging Servers Installation That's all the information I can gather from the alert.
