Log File size is high in SCCM 2007 Database
Hi , Here i'm using SCCM 2007 R2. recently SCCM Server Hard Disk space size is getting to increased. then i found the issue. In SCCM DB Log file size is too high. it is around 200 GB. Here with attached the Screenshot also. is it possible to reduce ? if it is please advise me. Regards, COMDINI

Have you backed it up? SQL Server logs are never purged unless you are backing SQL up. You should be using the built in ConfigMgr backup maintenance task: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb633003.aspxJason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com

As Jason said, logs are not purged if don't backup SCCM. Use "Backup ConfigMgr Site Server" Task, in site settings, site maintenance, tasks. No SQL backup, no log purged.
