Loading XML data(View code of SSIS packages) in SQL Server using SSIS XML source/ XML Task
Hello Everyone,
I am beginner in SSIS. I need some one to assist me through step please.
My Manager told me to load the metadata of SSIS packages i.e. XML code into SQL server table and want to create the report from it.
I tried to load the data by using XML source in the control from but every time I am not successful. I can got the code of SSIS pakg and put the in the Visual studio and created the XSD of it. It is creating 3 xsd's i don't why and Please let me know how
to use those XSD's in SSIS pks to load the metadata into SQL Server..
Help it appreciate it.

Could you just load the XML into a table and then use XQuery methods to get the information you want?
I haven't worked with this, but this looks like a way to get what you want out of your package files:
