Listview webpart in site definition
When defining a listview webpart in a custom site definition, how can I make sure that the view has the columns that I want it to show? The standard view shows these column: Title, Assigned To and Modified. What I want it to show is these columns: Title, Due Date. What's the best way of doing so? -- Ziga

Maybe I'm missing the point here but if I do understand the question correctly, the answer is to a) In the List the LVWP is based on, create a new View that shows Title; Due Date (only) [and consider making the number of items per side very low (5-10)]. b) Do Modify Web Part (in the browser) for the LVWP and specify instead of "Default View" the View you have just created. [Moderator Hat on: I'll move this to Admin as I am fairly sure the above is all you need)SP 2010 "FAQ" (mainly useful links): http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx WSS3/MOSS FAQ (FAQ and Links) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters
