List page with WebPart

I am trying to add a WebPart to a List page but it will not let me do this properly.

From the Master page I can have a List, then add a WebPart below that with the Content Editor linking to a .txt file that has JavaScript code. This works perfectly.

However, when I go to the List page itself, it shows that there is a Content Editor linking to the same text file, but it will not display the same JavaScript type code. Actually it shows the code but NOT the results of the code.

How can I get a WebPart, added to a List page, and then show the Content Editor JavaScript code properly?

This is based off of this site:

(remove space between // thinketg.com)

Thanks.

Hi,

You can directly edit the All Items page to add the content editor/script editor web part. Script editor is a great way to embed HTML\CSS and scripts directly onto a page. Please place the content of .txt file on to Script Editor and save the page, this should do the magic!
