AFAIK there are no such built-in reports. However, you could get a list of all OUs where any discovered resources are by this query: select distinct System_OU_Name0 from v_RA_System_systemOUName

Hi Christian, Interresting on one server the list is empty!!! even System Center Configuration Manager > Site Database > Site Management > Site > Site Settings > Discovery Methods > Active Directory System Discovery is enabled !!! what is wrong???? On the 2nd & 3rd one I got a list of OU checking now if it is complete... same remark it is not current it all OUs used at least once... We have purged AD and cleaned up OUs sionce we started SCCM and the old OUs are still here in this query even they are not in the discovery list anymore.. SCCM will discover OUs only when you set the Active directory System Group discovery. OU discovery is part of Active directory System Group discovery. does this discovery enabled in your environment?

what is wrong???? The query Christjan provided will only list OUs that were discovered by AD system group discovery. So there's a high chance that there's no computer account in the database (of the site that did the discovery) that is located in those OUs. The OUs are stored in the sitecontrol file, so you would have to write a script that reads the SCF in order to get the discovery information.

Hi Torsten, Primary-Parent: Active Directory System Group Discovery --> NOT enabled Primary-Child1: Active Directory System Group Discovery --> enabled Primary-Child2t: Active Directory System Group Discovery --> NOT enabled So you are right only the Chid1 is getting info... Active Directory System Discovery is enabled on Child 1 and Child2 ONLY Something seems not correct but I am not sure why... Shouldn't the two childs have the same settings? What are the advantages/disadvantages to have the Active Directory System Group Discovery enabled? Dom, do you mean you want to find a way to record the settings in your environment? If so, perhaps you want to check out http://enhansoft.com/Pages/Downloads.aspx , The ConfigMgr Documentation Script. or http://scug.be/blogs/sccm/archive/2009/10/21/sccmautodoc-by-oscc-goes-beta-1.aspx , SCCMAutoDoc. I think it's out of Beta, so you likely need to email the mail address listed, and see how much it costs.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

Hi Sherry, The first script is already excellent thanks to you, Garth Jones and Patrick Ogenstad. I think the OUs are not in the first one but already tons of information to review, it is in the second one only if I am correct but the first one is giving already an excellent overview of the settings. But on the second one I could have only the download of the sample there is no executable to test it?
