List can't send alert email
the list can't send alert email successfully when filled in the assigned value with a user. the out-going email configuration is right in central administration. the strange thing is If I create a new list, its can send mail successfully just one day, and stopped to work later. anybody can help me?Qiqing

Qiqing, It would be very useful to see if you can find any errors in the application log, IIS, or even a trace in SharePoint. Your question is so broad, it's hard to give you any ideas. However one thought I had was to make sure your sharepoint timer service is running. Hi Brian, thanks for your reply, actually this is a custmer asked question. I even can't log in the environment, but I will collect more information. if the Job Timer is not working, why the list can send mail the first day when it was created, the Job timer belongs to web application, not the list. I have asked custmer to create some new list for experience. Thanks in advance. I will get more information, and will return.Qiqing
