Linking to PDFs using the Document ID
Hello, We setup a Document Center and enabled document IDs in SharePoint 2010. Linking to the Word and Excel documents through the Document ID URL has been flawless. However, when using the Document ID URL for PDF files, clicking the link simply takes you to the PDF's document properties page. The "normal" links/URLs that use the PDF's name, properly open the file. Its just the Document ID URLs for PDFs that seem to be incorrect. I have tried toggling all three settings available in the Advanced Document Library settings for "Default open behavior for browser-enabled documents," but these have not made any difference. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Youve posted this into the wrong forum. Document Centers werent very well established in SharePoint 2007 and prior, so Id suggest asking this in the Sp2010 Configuration Forums. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepoint2010setup/threads Steven Andrews | SharePoint Professional | http://www.twitter.com/backpackerd00d | https://baron72.wordpress.com/
