Link to multiple reports from a single text box
Hi,
In SSRS 2008 R2: Is it possible to have link to multiple reports from a single text box in tablix?
i.e. If users click on a cell, he should get a popup to select from a list of report. Then user clicks on one of them to open it.
Regards & thanks in advance!

Hi There
This is possible that in one text box a user can click and you can open multiple reports
You cannot open a pop up but you can create multiple placeholder in one text box and you can define action and separate text for both placeholder
I have put some screenshot for your help
Many Thanks

Hi Syed, thanks for your reply. your solution is good but is not acceptable to our business. Also placeholder will increase width of the reports unnecessarily.
they surely want to have popup or kind of mouse over to select from a list of reports.
any other ideas/ workarounds ?

Rahul

Hi There
The placeholder will not increase width of the reports unnecessarily. I have given example and make the things bold and bigger text for your viewing purpose but you can create multiple placeholder inside one textbox.
I am afraid the current version of SSRS does not support popup type functionality
Please let me know if you have any questions
Many Thanks

These links are row sensitive link, means will pass all parameters when you click on a row.
If you have 4 links, you have to have 4 labels on each row to show those links and this will take unneccasary space.

Hi rahul,
I know what you mean. Syed's solution as a workaround for your reference. Currently, Reporting Services only allow us to drillthrough a single report if we enable the "Go to URL" or "Go to Report" function. For more information, please see:

the feature in the next SQL Server version. Your feedback is valuable for us to improve our products and increase the level of service provided.
