Link to Existing Workspace Dropdown
When I create a new event and check the box at the bottom to use a meeting workspace and go to the next screen it doesn't give me the link to existing workspace option. There are already meeting workspaces create on the same site. Any help on this please?

Hi , I understand that when you create an event using a meeting workspace ,the existing meeting workspace doesn’t show up .Please have a test like this: 1. When you create a meeting workspace ,there are two options :’use the same permissions as parent site’ and ‘use unique permissions’ . 2. If you choose ‘use the same permissions as parent site ’ then the meeting space can be used by every user who has the permission to create event. 3. If you choose ‘use unique permissions’ ,then you can specify the group which can use the meeting space . Make sure that you are in the group ,then you can use the existing meeting workspace . 4. Create a new meeting workspace to test . If you have any more questions ,please feel free to ask . Thanks,Entan Ming

Hi, Thank for the reply. The workspace inherits permissions from the parent site. My environment has the permissions to create subsites disabled, do you think this could be the problem, when I select add workspace I go to next page, it shows me fields to create a new workspace but the top row which allows to select existing is not shown. And yes since there is no permission to create a subsite when I click OK it displays Access Denied. Thank You
