Lawson and FIM 2010
Hi,
does anyone know if FIM and Lawson (www lawson com) work together with out-the-box MAs?
Or would you need to buy or develop MAs?
thanks

From what I know:
Lawson can back into MS SQL, Oracle 9 or 10, DB2, Informix or Sybase. There may be others...
If the client is using SQL, Oracle or DB2, it is possible to connect with the out of the box MAs, however it is going to be VERY hard. Lawson has a large number of tables (hundres, even thousands) that stores this data, so to make this work, an intermediate
view or table would need to be created, and it would be large, and could require a number of stored procedures. There is also a large number of Lawson-generated values to give unique keys to objects through the Lawson database.
In short, I am very confident that it is going to be more cost effective to work with the Lawson developers to collect the APIs that are used for object management and then build an MA -- or see if they have one that you can buy (although I doubt that).
