Large file upload as attached file
Hi all ! I have got a Web application and I increased the size limit for uploaded files. It works perfectly for document library :) But ! When I try to attach a large to a list item (via EditForm.aspx), I have got an error who says file size limit excedeed. Does anyone knows if it is possible to increase the file size limit on that form ? Thanks in advance -- For information, I work on IIS 7.0 and Windows Server 2008 --tom-i the frenchie

Hi, There is a setting at the IIS level that will block list attachment uploads above 50MB. Blow 50MB, any max upload size you pick works fine for both list attachments and document uploads and is enforced directly through web application settings. Above 50MB, you need to make at least one minor tweak to your web.config to allow large uploads. Here is an article about “How to increase attachment size in SharePoint”, for more information, please refer to: http://www.help-net.net/docs/WEB%20and%20Content%20Management%20Systems/SharePoint/Install/How%20to%20increase%20attachment%20size%20in%20SharePoint.pdf Best Regards, Qiao Wei
