Language Deployment

Hi All,

I have been looking all over the forums and Google for the answer and cannot find one to fit.

I need to Build and Capture Windows 7, 8.1 and soon windows 10 in 3 Languages: English, Norwegian and Swedish.

Most of what i have found relates to SCCM 2007 but we are using SCCM 2012 R2.

I have been able to get the norwegian keyboards deployed but i need the display language. I have been tempted just to download the Norwegian and Swedish version of Windows to but that is a waste of space. What i would really like is to use a combination of Collection Variables to set the install language and deployment of the Language Pack. I have MDT 2013 installed if that helps.

Niall's guide on Windows-noob is great but not for 2012 R2.

I have the unattended package (similar to the windows noob customisation part 1) but have tried several different methods and either the task sequence stops working or it does give the desired configuration.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

James

ConfigMgr just runs the commands you tell it to run, Niall's blog has the insrtuctions. For Win7 I've extracted the lp.cab and simply used dism to inject it to the base image. During the install sequence it's all about configuring the variable and placing it into the unattended.xml
