Hi, Is it possible to have steadstate use disk protection (put everything back to the way it was after each restart) but I have a specific folder that changes all the time and information gets updated all the time in it - is it possible to exclude this from the deletion so that all other settings go back to normal but this one folder is the same as it was left from the last user?

Hi gwallan, I'd like to inform you that we cannot set exception in Windows Disk Protection in Windows SteadyState UI. If you have a second partition, the only workaround is putting it in the non-system partition. Thank you.Sean Zhu - MSFT
