Hello, I encountered the same problem some times ago. I fixed it by running the Microsoft Office Diagnostics Tool. Hope this helps. Regards.

Hello We're currently experiencing more or lessthe same problems. After just having installed Sharepoint and created a first Wiki site, we are encountering JavaScript errors when you select functions like 'Edit Page'. Once the error appears then it basically disables all javascript functions from working. Did you run the Microsoft Office Diagnostics Tool on the Sharepoint Server itself??? Thanks in advance.

Did you guys ever get this resolved? We're seeing the same thing. Some clients work fine, others are unable to do much of anything interactive once they get onto the SPS site.

I was getting the same error on many sharepoint pages. Irecently upgraded my client PC tooutlook 2007 and removed office 2003 which I think may have screwed things up. I ran the repair wizard in word and it seems to have repaired the javascript error - Library not Registered Word 2003- Help ->detect and repair - checkdiscard my customized settings and restore default settings Word 2007- Office button -> Word Options -> Resources -> Diagnose

I recently uninstalled the trial version of Sharepoint Designer on a Windows 2003 box still running Office 2003. Afterwards, on each Sharepoint page I navigated to I received the above Javascript error. Following Daryl's comments I was able to resolve the issue, thanks Daryl!

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Accessibility forum to which it was posted. Read the definition of that forum - it says "Topics about improving accessibility and usability for the physically challenged. " Your question has nothing to do with the physically challenged. Moving to the Admin forum. Please at least try to post to the right forum.

Thanks Daryl -- this solved the problem for me!For the record: Irecently installed and then immediately uninstalled a trial version of SP Designer. The "Library not registered" problem then appeared. I reinstalled Designer, to no avail.Testing on other computershelped me determinethe problem was my personal computer and not the SP server. One other (of four machines tested) has the same problem. With a twist: the user HAD Office 2003 installed, but had previously uninstalled all apps but Outlook. He now uses Open office and has the MS readers for Word, Powerpoint, etc. He tried repairing the reader (from the add/remove apps control panel). Didn't help From within Outlook, followed the steps outlined beliow by Daryl. Still didn't help. So on HIS machine, the "library not registered" issue still exists. I suggested he may need to reinstall all the Office 2003 apps, run the repair wizard, and then uninstall again. He hasn't gone to that extent yet...
