Thanks for your voice, lots of users has reported this to us.
In short: Windows 10 will automatically download and install updates and you have no build-in option to switch them off. (Also hope it can be fixed soon)
However, the driver is released by the device manufacturer though it could be downloaded automatically from Windows update. Please note that the manufacturer may provide more up-to-date drivers or drivers that enable additional functionality than the drivers installed by Windows 10. Always follow the recommendations of the device manufacturer for optimal performance and stability. So the best solution is that to download newer driver from manufacturer so the problematic driver from update wont over write the driver.
If there is no newer version driver, we could try to download the latest driver manually and install it in compatible mode (right click choose "Properties\compatibility" choose a mode, "apply\OK" and then run as administrator) to have a check.
