I created a custom list almost a year ago. It was working fine until the other day, all of the items in the list now redirect to the root server. For example: Items used to have the URL https://server/subsite/lists/thelist/DispForm?ID=1 Now, they all have the URL https://server/?ID=1 If I explicitly type in https://server/subsite/lists/thelist/DispForm?ID=1, I get a blank page. I checked to see if someone had closed the form webpart but checking it in Designer shows that there is nothing in Web Part Zone anymore. As if someone had deleted the entire form. But the specific permissions prevent users from doing so. Is there anything else that can cause this behaviour? There are about 1900 items in this list. UPDATE: Doing a little research, it seems like the ListFormWebPart disappeared from DispForm.aspx and the EditForm.aspx pages. Now the list is broken. I'm not sure how to fix this. And I'm also not sure how these web parts were deleted in the first place. The last time the forms were edited were last year. UPDATE: Was able to restore the Forms using a copy from a week ago. This restored the functionality to the list. However, in the interest of finding a root-cause, we sifting through the logs to see what might have happened to cause the ListFormWebPart to be deleted.
