Hello everyone, I know that Microsoft doesn't recommend putting more than 2000 items in a document library, at the most, but is there a recommended limit for the calendar lists? I tried searching the web and came up with nothing (there either isn't a recommendation or I'm just using the wrong search strings). Thanks! Veronica Harris

It's not 2,000 items for a document library. It's 2,000 items for a list (any list). For a document library that has forums the same recommended maximum is 2000 folders and 2000 documents per folder or 4 Million in all. The real physical maximum is close to 5 million.2010 Books: SPF 2010; SPS 2010; SPD 2010; InfoPath 2010; Workflow etc. 2007 Books: WSS 3.0; MOSS 2007; SPD 2007; InfoPath 2007; PerformancePoint; SSRS; Workflow Both lists also include books in French; German; Spanish with even more languages in the 2007 list.
