Issues while configuring incoming emails to MOSS
We are trying to configure incoming emails to Sharepoint. Following are the two issues we are facing:
1. Incoming mails are not coming to Drop Folder on the MOSS server (default path - C:\inetpub\mailroot\Drop)
2. For test purpose, we manually pasted a .eml file in the drop folder, then timer job is picking the file but it is not gettinguploaded in the document library.
(Got error in event viewer is : A critical error occurred while processing the incoming e-mail file c:\inetpub\mailroot\drop\test - Copy.eml. The error was: Bad senders or recipients..)

The error you are getting in item 2 is expected behaviour. Have a look at this article:

Is the email being sent using the basic e-mail format:
mylibrary@myserver.mydomain.local ? You need to use this specific format to start with otherwise emails will not be forwarded to this server.
Is the SMTP service logging anything in the event log? Does the Exchange server log anything in it's event logs? Do the users sending the email get a bounce-back email?

No, Nothing is logged in eventlog when sent mail to specific EmailId.
First I try out second part.
For test purpose, we manually pasted a .eml file in the drop folder, then timer job is picking the file but it is not getting uploaded in the document library. And
got below error in event viewer.
(Got error in event viewer is :
