Issues connecting Outlook Calendar meeting to SharePoint 2007 Meeting Workspace
(Not sure whether this question belongs in this forum or the Outlook forum) Has anyone run into issues with connecting Outlook Calendar meetings to a Meeting Workspace? The two specific items I'm seeing: 1. The attendees web part on the workspace doesn't show the attendees consistently. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they don't. I believe this may be a result of the environment (windows xp sp3, IE6, Outlook 2007) but if anyone has any thoughts i'd welcome them. 2. Some people who try to connect to a meeting workspace from Outlook get this error: "You are currently working with Outlook offline. To update the attendees in the Meeting Workspace, you must have a local copy of the address book installed." The users who get this are in fact online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi Adam, Did you send a meeting request with a link to the site to the attendees when you create a new meeting workspace site in Outlook? If not, please send a meeting request with a link to the attendees, the attendees are automatically assigned to the Contributor site group and are added to the site as users with rights to read and write to the Meeting Workspace site. Then check the effect. In addition, make sure the people who try to connect to a meeting workspace has received the meeting request. Then make sure their Outlook are online instead off offline. For more information about how to check whether Outlook is working online, please refer to the following article: Switch between working offline and online http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/outlook-help/switch-between-working-offline-and-online-HP005242598.aspx For more information about Meeting Workspaces, please refer to the following article: Introduction to Meeting Workspaces http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/introduction-to-meeting-workspaces-HA001230470.aspx Hope this is helpful to you.
