Issue with task synchronization

I went through this guide

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj554516.aspx

I was unable to install the EWS API through shell. I installed it through GUI at that point and every time i try to sync i get

"We weren't able to start syncing your tasks because one or more pre-requisites for connecting to the exchange server could not be found. Please contact your administrator to resolve this issue"

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

I went through the White Paper again and it indicates the following

ExchangeWebServiceClientMissing

We werent able to start syncing your tasks because one or more pre-requisites for connecting to Exchange server could not be found. Please contact your administrator to resolve this issue.

Technical details

As stated above I have installed the package.
