Issue with Navigation Menu
I have one team site in sharepoint. I have enabled and disabled Publishing feature for the site multiple number of times.
So when i go to the site actions-Site settings- Modify Navigation Menu is disabled.
and when i click on Navigation under Look and Feel it is throwing an error "Updates are currently disallowed on GET requests. To allow updates on GET,Set the 'AllowUnsafeupdates' property on SPWeb".
Any Idea?
Please help me to resolve this issue.

This kind of error generally occurs when any custom code try to manipulate data from content database, you have to set AllowUnsafeupdates to true for this. My question to you is, are you using any custom code anywhere in _layouts/settings.aspx page or
_layouts/AreaNavigationSettings.aspx page.w: http://www.worldofsharepoint.com | t:

Try to enable the Publishing feature again and see if that works.

Hi AniLoka,
Please try NGDev and Chris’s reply in this similar thread. Use stsadm command to active publishing site feature again.
