Issue with Group Policy Administrative Templates after upgrading Domain Controllers from Windows 2003 (x86) to 2008 (x86)

HI There,

We have 20 Domain Controllers in our environment and recent;y started upgrading Domain Controllers from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 OS. So far we have upgraded 12 Domain Controllers.

I observed that, we have issues with Group policies which are using Administrative Templates are no longer working. We get below error message.

The client-side extension could not apply user policy settings for '<Filed GPO Name>' because it failed with error code '0x80070003 The system cannot find the path specified.' See trace file for more details.

When I try to open the problematic policy on Windows 2008 DC it gives following error,

Expected one of the following possible element(s), <text>, <decimalTextBox>, <textBox>, <checkBox>, <comboBox>, <dropdownList>, <listBox>, but found <multiTextBox> instead. File \\<FQDN of DC>\sysvol\contoso.com\Policies\PolicyDefinitions\en-US\terminalserver-Server.adml, line 198, column 60
E

Can someone please suggest me how to solve this?

Thanks

> /Expected one of the following possible element(s), <text>, > <decimalTextBox>, <textBox>, <checkBox>, <comboBox>, <dropdownList>, > <listBox>, but found <multiTextBox> instead.   You implemented a central store, and you copied the ADMX files from Win7 to this central store. Win7 introduced the multiTextBox element in ADM templates, which 2008 (without R2) doesn't understand.   Either replace the W7 ADMX with the Vista/2008 ADMX or (recommended) edit your GPOs on a W7 workstation instead of directly on the server.
