Hi,

I'm using managed metadata on SharePoint  and noticed a strange issue with &. If the term is having & in its name, it is converting to (Wide Ampersand).  So when i am trying save it to some external database it is saving with some weird character.

Can anyone help me out in this issue.

Hi Mani,

If you managed metadata term and change the Wide Ampersand to &, could it be corrected?

And please also try exporting the managed term to csv file, and save as UTF-8, then import and test again.

Thanks Dan. I tried to export to UTF-8 and imported again, but the issue remains the same.

I have replaced wide ampersand to normal ampersand that worked for me in the code.
